Hey everybody! Short Monqey, here!
And, you're probably wondering on where the progress to Love-Struck in the Rain is? We've basically vanished, but we're back to bring you progress and to continue the production of this game!
MINOR PROBLEMS
Okay, so first off I'll be discussing about a problem we're having. Don't worry, it isn't anything that will cause the project to be cancelled or anything like that, it's just a stupid problem that we're trying to fix. So, about 3-4 weeks ago, my friend AUlord; the Director's Clickteam stopped working. And we've tried everything to fix it and yet nothing has worked. This is a little problem because all the games he is coding himself using Clickteam, won't get any progress from him. So, that sucks. Right now he is learning Godot, which is really cool! So, now I am coding basically the entire game myself, which I don't mind lol.
GAME PAGE UPDATE + NEW LOGO
So, secondly I am gonna talk about some updates we have to the game page and the logo! So, our friend @KatimuX , who is an amazing artist drew us a new thumbnail!
(A huge thank you, Kat!)
Give them a follow and check out their art!
I myself drew the new banner, I hope you like it!
And the game page, we fixed it up a little. We'll update later on with some images. Now, lastly with this section we have made a brand new logo!
This is hugely inspired by my friend @ElMaster59 who has made logo's for two of my other games, go check out his projects!
PROGRESS
Now, lastly I am gonna show off some progress we've made!
So, we've restarted the game to have a fresh start. We'll show off more progress later but for right now I have one thing to show you!
(A small sneak peak of the Love-Struck Section!)
The battle engine we're using is made by our friend @Electroyed , he is an amazing coder! The Papyrus Sprites are created by @Ari7, the creator of UNDERSWAP: Thanatos, Make sure to check out their work!
As you see, the buttons have been swapped around and this of course fits with UNDERSWAP, since a lot of fan games US fan games have been doing this, so we might as well!
Well, that is everything to show off, and we hope you enjoyed! We love working on this project and all of you seem to enjoy it too, so thank you everyone! See you in the next post!
