Hello once again everybody, coming back for a new devpost! Today, I bring another one of the drawings, a new screenshot of one of the areas, some sprites from the old style, and one of the first screenshots ever taken of the game years ago!

Lately, Undone's development has admittedly been going at a much better pace than it really ever has been. One of the biggest marks of the development process being the first area of the game, Rando Lands.

Since the very beginning, I always imagined Rando Lands would be added onto somewhat. After all, it's a very interesting area that just seemed to be passed over in the original Joyful, and I felt like a lot could be said with Rando's character with the place.

With that in mind, a lot of those years in development were sorta spent within Rando Lands, despite a lot of deep planning for the rest of the game, as well as the fleshing out of certain mechanics, we never really progressed past it just quite. We always needed to work on more of it, it even surviving a complete artstyle revamp midway through!

That however, changed recently, as alongside the finalization of a lot of important mechanics, Rando Lands itself is something we can finally move on from for now and go work on further parts in the game.

Playtesting has begun for it, and so far the playtime for it has clocked in at around an hour and a half! A heck of a step up from what was essentially a five minute section in Joyful. Even with the all the bugfixing that comes with games like this, it seems to be shaping up to be the experience I want to make, which I am very glad for.
