Devlog 3/26/25


We have a few more updates, first being the demo!

The demo will be the entire Castle Town sequence (Ralsei's Legend, the Lancer battle, and the Battle Tutorial), starting from when you first save upon encountering the area and ending when you pass through the Great Door. You can play through the whole game, but that's the only part that will have silly dialogue.

The way this mod works is that it doesn't have any data.win file changes. All I'm doing is editing the lang_en file. Save files will also be provided with the .zip folder when you install it so you can skip right to the main part for the demo.

Additionally, I thought I might as well add the way it will be formatted for the version number. It will start at 0.1.0 for the demo, and the third number being for any bug fixes. 1.0.0 will be Chapter 1, and if I were to add one for Chapter 2 then that would be 2.0.0, and so on. I am NOT confirming any plans to extend this to future chapters, I'm just leaving the door open so that it will be easy to implement like that.

As far as demo progress, it's going pretty well! I'm currently in the middle of doing the battle tutorial which is gonna take so long to finish simply because of so many dialogue possibilities based on what you do. And yes, most of them will have funny dialogue (particularly if you keep defending for no reason... hehehe)
