Devlog 3

Hello there!

Are you ready for another devlog? -Yes
Alright, here you go. -Thanks

This week I took a look at a brand new in-game function, the electricity. We all learned to live in age of electricity, that is why you may like to have electricity on your side
in post-apocalyptic world. I played with the idea a little bit and made the content below, I hope you like it.

Here is the first base part of the system, the generator that will power anything in some range, so far in 5m radius.

The next thing coming for the electricity system is a basic construction light, that you can see here:

It produces a lot of light, which has it’s pros and cons. In the night it’s easy to be spotted, but it’s useful for other purposes.

In the video below you can see how it works together with the generator:

So far the elevator hasn’t been implemented into electricity system. That is the reason why the elevator works all the time. It will be necessary to use the elevator
in some of the buildings.

This would be all for this devlog, I hope you liked it and if you have any suggestions for next updates, please let me know in the comments.
Thank you for keeping up with the game.

Best regards,
Vojtěch Matouš

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
