(OLD) Georgiger's REBRANDED

Hello, welcome to another Georgiger's REBRANDED devlog. Today, I will mainly focus on Hard Mode, but I will explain what's happening with Normal and Classic Modes.


Recent Beta Test

@betadipsygipsy (creator of J-0114 Returned) recently beta tested the normal mode of the game, and told me what should be added and fixed in the game, including updated AI for Georgiger, and a new AI for Old Georgiger.

  • Georgiger will act the same, but whenever you lure him, he will have a hidden meter showing how angry he gets. Once he yells out a phrase after a lure, you are not allowed to lure him any further, otherwise Georgiger will appear in your office and kill you.

  • A timer will appear whenever you release the steam. You are not allowed to use the steam while the timer counts down otherwise Old Georgiger will show up and kill you. Once the timer reaches 0 and disappears, you are allowed to use the steam again. The timer is based on Old Georgiger's AI level.

I also fixed some bugs (including an RNG error) relating to Taffy, and smoothened out the visuals to make them seem better. I applied all these fixes to Classic Mode as well as Hard Mode, which I will explain now.


Hard Mode - What's New?

I have currently been working a ton on the new content for Hard Mode, such as two new, challenging nights, and potential side-nights (days) in between each night.

Days 1-5

These are essentially little extra nights based on FNaTAS 5, where you traverse throughout your entire home fending off against monsters.

However, instead of your run-of-the-mill Nightmare enemies, (since Curse of Mikhail already has those) you are facing against four new animatronics called Cult animatronics.

These animatronics are versions of the core four from the mainline FNaF games, with a funtime-looking appearance, a similar texture to the Metal animatronics, and a very similar appearance to the decrepit George animatronic possessed by Mikhail.

Their goal (set up by Golden Tweetie) is to guard Lynn's own home while she (who possessed Lynn during Hard Mode) goes to find George so that the Cult animos can rebuild him as a way to bring back Mikhail to torment Josh Randy as revenge for killing Ruby Jolly while she torments Lynn.

Each day will add a new enemy with a unique mechanic.

Night Golden

This night comes directly after Night 5 of the game, where Golden Tweetie unleashes an army of Apiphobia monsters into Lynn's coma world to kill you.

The three monsters from Apiphobia (Dark Jolly, Gapejaws and Toxicpool) make a triumphant return, with these mechanics.

  • Dark Jolly (Jolly the Bee) will activate at 4 AM, and will create a dark portal in the ceiling. Every time you flip down the monitor, Dark Jolly will come further out of the portal. When you do 20 monitor flaps while he is activated, he will attack you.

  • Gapejaws (George) will flash hallucination images onto your screen. You must not go to the freezer, or else Gapejaws will come out of the freezer and attack.

  • Toxicpool (Classic Jolly) will dangle one of his heads onto either side of the office. You must face the opposite direction for Toxicpool to go away, otherwise he will jumpscare you like a phantom and disable the Extinguish button at the freezer.

Alongside these three, in order to ramp up the difficulty, are eight new foes that you might know in some way about through the final trailer.

  • Diviplice (Tweetie) will traverse through the building, similar to Georgiger. You can also lure her into a room like Georgiger. However, Diviplice can go to a random room, including your office, rather than going a set path. It's game over when she reaches the office.

  • Sirapusa (Maxie) will appear at a random camera, and will destroy said camera if you look at her for too long, so close down the monitor as soon as you see her.

  • Splatwreck (Wendy) will appear through two holes in your wall, and will appear through one of them. You must look at her to make her leave the office.

  • Cadinvade (Crimson) will emit a laughing sound cue. You must find his pop-up in your monitor, which is located at any camera. Once you find him, you have a limited time to click the pop-up to make Cadinvade go away. If you don't stop him in time, he will jumpscare you like a phantom and disable your monitor and steam.

  • Hellwaste (Classic George) will sit motionless next to the freezer, and will slowly ignite himself. You must press the extinguish button to reset him.

  • Traumare (Classic Tweetie) will materialise in your office. You must not touch her with your mouse cursor if you don't want to get killed by her.

  • Sideswap (Classic Maxie) will appear in your office with a sound cue. She has two forms that she uses. When she is in the form of a small cartoon Maxie, you must look at her and she will go away. However, when he is in the form of a decrepit, blue Maxie, you must flip the monitor to make her go away.

  • Antogrim (Antonette) will slowly follow you wherever you go in the monitor. If you stare at her for too long, she will jumpscare the player and disable you from everything for 10 seconds. Once those 10 seconds are up, Antogrim will summon one of seven Golden Tweetie clones.

The Other New Night

This one will most likely be a night where a familiar foe returns for one last battle. I won't go through it due to spoilers, but yeah.

Next up

A trailer for the game will be released on July 31st, which is on my 20th birthday.

The game itself will still be considered my 20th birthday special even if it has a very belated release.
