Devlog 4: "The Final Stretch"


As of this post, "Fursona: Sodor Animal Fantasy" is currently on its third and final act in story meaning the game is now past the 2/3rds mark in development. Also I'm currently focused on working on the story and because in a previous posted I mentioned that I would stop working on sidequests and provided several reasons that I won't get into in this devlog. Anywho, let's get right in!

Plot and Quests

  • Completed work on Act 2 of the main story

  • Added quest data for the first main quest of Act 3

Levels and Towns

  • Added Vicarstown, the last town of the game

  • Added Shin-ra Europe HQ

  • Added extra areas and details on the world map on both Sodor and mainland England

Miscellaneous

  • Added Victory Aftermath, Weakness Pop-ups, Battle cursor, and New Game+ plugins from VisuStella

  • The last batch of recipes are now accessible during gameplay

  • Changed ingame font to Rockwell (which was used as the font for the titles in season 4 of Thomas and Friends)

  • Added a new icon graphics set for items and such

  • Added some achievements and removed some that were leftover from "A Postmortem Nation"

  • Dummied out unused enemies so they don't appear in the bestiary
