It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry for the wait. If you're in the discord server, you're already aware that I've been moving house for the past... long time. Had a lot of personal and financial problems, but hopefully things are starting to look up. But that's not what we're here for, is it?
First of all, I've actually started working on the battle menu thing. The textures for the buttons were done by Luna. Still need to assign sounds to them and make them do shit, but we're getting somewhere. The next plan for this is probably to get the rest of the UI into place, like the health bar and shit. Probably. Might also make the main menu look prettier with some cool particle effects if I feel like it.
Second, we have a new track, this one by Metrall. Metrall has had to leave the project due to his own personal reasons, but has given me written permission to use the track, named Once Upon A Lasting Time. This will be uploaded to the Gamejolt shortly.
Now, about my move. I feel like discussing this a little more. I've finally moved out of my grandparents' house into my own place with some friends of mine. This has been a massive rollercoaster, not least of all my ex ditching me early on and leaving me in financial danger for ages. But we're finally starting to settle, and I can resume work on the project. Thank you for your patience, everyone, even if this project isn't known for that SOUL trait lol.
Also, I believe we're about a year old now. A lot has changed since I started Team Perseverance and UT:ReP, but I'm excited to finally get somewhere with the demo. Next devlog hopefully won't take the best part of a year to arrive. We'll hopefully have either more music tracks or more battle system UI stuff to show off, as well as maybe the beginnings of the battle manager. But happy belated 1st anniversary.
