Devlog 7: I'm almost finished with the first area and have fixed several features!


Now that I have the new features implemented (some of which I'm not quite ready to announce), I will start working on the rest of Act 1! The first area also looks fantastic, and I can't wait to release the first demo in late 2023 (or possibly sooner).

Gamepad/Controller compatibility has also been fixed and improved. I've added prompts for when the game detects controller inputs, however, the prompts only display instructions for Xbox controllers. You also can't change the options using a controller. From now on, my focus is on building the rest of Act 1; adding full functionality for controllers can come later.

Also, there are now more objects and things to see around the maze! I'm not showing them because some of them are secrets that you'll have to find yourselves. Oh, yeah, there're now secret areas that have their own unique objects and notes for lore.

I probably won't post another devlog for a while, so I'll see you all in the pitch black.
