Beta testing
After a couple testing sessions, I've made some adjustments to the game and fully finished the tutorial section (except for the music).
Alongside that, I've also made a simple lighting system, as one of the beta testers complained about the game's colors being too strong.
It's nothin' crazy, but it should make the colors look less "strong" while not actually changing them.
Oh, and if you didn't get it yet, that image at the start of this devlog, is a preview of how the story section will look like.
For now, there's a lotta art that needs to be done for it, but I'll leave that for later, cuz the section itself is already finished.
ADDING NEW CONTENT!
After fixing almost every small issue with the game, I've started to add some new weapons in order to give the game more variety.
Alongside that, I'm also gonna start adding some new enemies and mechanics, given how the current 4 were just "dummies".
(IMPORTNAT!) Change of plans regarding a demo
......
If you've been following the game's development since it's announcement, then you know I said if everything went according to my plans, there would be a free demo out by July of 2025.
Well, that has changed.
A couple weeks ago, I messed around a bit on the game's planning docs.
And I decided to change some of the game's extra content, since they neither fit nor complemented the main gameplay.
And that's when I realized that there was no need for a demo of any kind, since this game isn't split into levels, and doing a demo meant cutting out content.
So, I replaced that game's content with something else that'll complement the main gameplay much better.
Trust me, you'll like it =)
BONUS!
A couple new songs have been released on Youtube.
The new additions include:
-New Arrival
-The Devil's lair
- Gun em' down (Unused ver.)
-The Devil's lair (Unused ver.)
