Hey everyone! It’s been a little while. Today I’ll be showing off some of the new parts of Miracle City, past the first playable segment!
One - Instead of a store marketplace, Venice will instead enter the Cafe level only. I’ve been working on giving Lyle more of a presence in the earlier parts of the stage, mostly to give you a reason to beat her up! :^)
Here’s a look at the road above the city, where the Cafe is located.
Two- Inside the Cafe, there’s a miniboss fight now! Worked on my designs so that it looks more peaceful inside, and less like a fast food place.
Lyle’s locked you in here, and you’ve got to fight off some friends of hers to get out safely!
Three - After her scrape with the Bunny Biker Gang™, Venice has to travel through a short enemy line, and will then enter a train to catch up to the phony policewoman. This is the most I’ve got for now, been working on the train this week. I plan to add in those lovely Simon Says type puzzles from the old city as well. <3 (Don’t worry, they’ll be more fine tuned.)
I wanted to have a bit more for today, but I’ve actually been caught up more than expected in my new computer science class, in which I’m learning Python, and with my new commissions regimen. Devlog schedule will probably be pushed back to once every two weeks, so that I can have more content to post.
