Devlog January


hello everyone! hope you are well.

I will give some news regarding the development and some things that have happened.

Dead Hard Disk

this happened last saturday. my hard drive is dead? the scare came when the computer was not reading my hard drive and the next day it started to read it. although using programs to see the status of the drive. my hard drive is in this “Risk” state. i was able to make some backup of my files, programs and drawings. although some of the main purgatorium files like old renders of the 2022 version and others were corrupted....

This makes it impossible to bring as extra content the legacy version of the game. And honestly I'm not going to redo all those renders with old models that I have discarded because of problems with the modeler.

the good thing about all that is that i have recovered an old cakebear and cupcake animation for the extras. it's one of the only things i recovered from the legacy version.

Reduction of the development team

The development team has been reduced to 9 people (not counting the voice actors) because there were people who did not contribute anything to the project and there were only a few of us left.

(These are the people who are currently working, I won't count those who have already finished their work and can't be assigned any more tasks like porters and Voice Actor)

Game Progress

i'm honestly sick of giving out estimation numbers. it's the dumbest thing i've ever done and i regret it. the game is currently in the coding stages. rock already has the basic gameplay in place. animatronics on the cameras, the rotation in the office and the effects of the cameras.

still animating things like the game jumpscares and adding some missing characters. cakebear's night is completely rendered, just need to finish some animations and program the night.

One of the 2 antagonists is being remodeled. garvey has given a lot of conflict when it comes to move it to 3D, going from having a simple 2D design inspired by the original. to have a soft redesign made by the 3d modeler. the model has too many flaws and is complicated in itself to give poses. then I decided to send to redesign the antagonist so that these errors did not happen again. I will leave the previous designs you can see them, this will be included in the extras.

nowadays the design will take more into account the anatomy so that it doesn't get in the way when animating or rendering.
