Devlog (January)


Well hello my fellow friends, i have returned with a devlog of what has been happening these past few months!

Title screen update!


For the past month and a half, i have been working on the title, mostly just setting up paths so when i have to implement elements like the credits, i don't have to spend a while recoding some elements. So all of that is ready to go, except the exit button, it still needs just a little bit of work, mostly just making it actually close the game to when i package it!

In other news, i have added the CatTech logo, and made a base pathway for when i code in the warning screen, as i am unsure what else my game will contain when it is completed, so for right now, there is no warning screen. I also re-did the sequence of how the title will start off, i thought this was a neat thing to add as i thought it was cool when oblitus casa did it, so here's the clip of it in action!

Other then that, that's it gameplay wise... sadly

Modeling


I haven't done modeling in quite awhile but for a good reason? its because i am testing styles of how the game should look as i do not want to remake the horrible art direction the games prototype had, i won't show the whole model but here's a teaser!!

Now that i have an idea of how the game will look like, modeling things should be easier!

Extra stuff


Planning stuff it about 60% done, aswell the story for the game is ALMOST done, things need to get tweaked and need to tie into the game itself. Concepts are being done right now for characters then next will be locations set in game and ect. Gameplay for phase 1 is completed, my only concerns is that i am unsure of how things will look so please give me time, and when the main area is completed i'll tidy things up, make a teaser and later on release a demo!
