Devlog (June 2025): Hard times.


Hello everyone. First of all, happy pride month! I should have done that since the month started, but I make things different, I try to be as authentic as I can be.

So it's been (again) I while since I've posted an update regarding development, but one thing is sure, the game's looking fantastic thanks to our team! Many artists, modelers and programmers have helped me to build this game, special shoutout to @ElRafauricio for pushing this game on his free time, and @TroopyLoopy-dev for helping a lot with modeling. Although I hate to not show footage yet, truth is the game is looking Mint! (that was an internal joke because I'm writing this on LinuxMint).


OK, so... serious talk here... This month's been wild. Many things happened and I've been having many things to deal with.

The elephant in the room: I'm no longer a Game Jolt creator (I know, that was too fast). But I've been emailing Game Jolt regarding that. I do not expect to reclaim the Creator status, but is something I would like to have again, so in that way I would come back to the site and make the usual posts and updates, and everyone wins. It's Game Jolt's decision and I'll respect their final verdict.

Since then, it's been hard for me to be motivated...

One or two things you must know about me is: first I am in college, I dedicate to study and this art project is merely a hobby; second is that I have a visual disability: that's right, no jokes, I barely see anything, or kinda. Combine those two things, and that may explain why I tend to be a little slow. It's hard for me to balance two things I do and like. Commissions and other projects are a priority too, and that holds me back from working on the game. So please, don't be mad at me over a passion project. Wish I could do more, but I just can't.

I sometimes consider to pass this project to someone else of my trust, the pieces are there, but you know, doing things alone (in this case, directing) it's hard. Hey, if you are good directing, have free time and previous experience, oh please, contact me ASAP! IDK, I just want to push this game more, but now, I became very busy, and a little demotivated.
