Hello everyone,

I hate making posts like this where I beg for money, but it is what it is-

Heads up: This Ko-fi thing will not be a paywall for The Curse of Maggie's content, and every teaser, announcement, video or any piece of media will be released as it should be: for FREE, on Game Jolt, Itch, YouTube and any other platform I'm in, but not in Ko-fi.

Still, I want to promote my Ko-fi page here for two reasons:

1. Because it may have better reach.

2. It is important for me to keep developing this and other projects.

Though I am economically fine, I need extra money to cover various expenses like food, college, and old devices ending their life support, and more specifically my computer.

My PC is not okay

I am working this game on a very low quality laptop that was sold very expensive during quarantine (I believe $800?) with 8 gigs of ram and a GTX1650, and while that seems "OK" the bad things started to happen when the in-built laptop keyboard would stop working after two years. Then the USB ports, then the battery's life dropped down so much at the point I use this computer ALWAYS charged.

Repairing the laptop is not as cheap as you would expect because the pieces they sell are extremely rare, so there is no point in sending it to repair.

This very fact had me very saddened for years now since my last post on the topic.

My laptop is kinda trashy at the moment, so I really need a change.

It's (becoming) demotivating

I think it's gonna be like 2-3 years since I went back to game developing, and though I enjoy this, it feels demotivating to spend so much effort on this and not have anything in exchange. It makes you doubt if it's even worth to keep the journey.

Game Jolt's creator program is awesome, though I feel it's slow. Quite literally I will fill the Gems bar for the first time in over a YEAR, and while I don't complain at all, I want to point out that, need something more direct and fast.

Hard times

In 2024 I've faced a very dark time in my life where I thought I'd be death. I needed medical support at the moment to cover any expense on medicines and food, and though I did ask for help on Twitter, sadly nobody donated... Since then I said to myself "I will never ever ask for help with Ko-fi".

Then I stopped doing commissions in 2025 after an incident where I was SCAMMED with a 3D model. Since then I don't model stuff for anyone, it was so demotivating I haven't opened Blender to model stuff.

But now, in 2026, I try my luck once again hoping to receive help this time. And I don't expect like hundreds of dollars in one day, but even a dollar can help!

Ko-fi, finally

Ok, after all this article of me crying out my disgraces, I ask everyone to help me on Ko-fi.

Again, this will not be a paywall for the game, BUT there will be rewards:

1. 3D assets for your games or projects: 3D models I've made for you to use in your games without crediting me. Might include character models!

2. Some other resources.

3. You will be credited in either my projects, my posts and YouTube..

OK, Idk what else but sure I will do something. And again, NOT a paywall for this fan game.
