Finally putting this page to use, eh?


Introduction

A bit late oops

But anyways most of you have likely come from Underevent, hello hi!

First and foremost, this is a Dusttrust take, which means that it's focused on the super specific concepts that is the core of Dusttrust. This take itself is a remastering of Dustswap: The Reckoning, the link to it here:

This game's mission is to refresh this AU with twists and artistic contrasts. We became especially motivated to break this "Dusttrust curse" after witnessing the amount of remakes and iterations full of potential that were ultimately canned.

As such: This game is strictly about Sans and will not have much expansion into the world of Underswap itself. This needs to be clarified because the title might imply a full fledged Underswap game.

We hope you enjoy all that this project has to offer.


UNDEREVENT 2024

With the premiere of Underevent 2024, Underswap Reckoning was able to make an appearance. We had an amazing experience collaborating with @UNDEREVENT_Official and we are truly honored to partake in their event.

With our allotted time, we squeezed as much content we are willing to share. Note that some aspects of the trailer are outdated because the writing faced some changes after production.


Production

So… how much progress is there?

A strategy we find important with projects in general is to ensure stable development before publishing any sort of progress to the public. This means going hush-hush before we’re happy enough with our work to publish.

That said... here's some fun footage from the 1st encounter you'll have with Sans!:

With that considered, the game at this point is approximately nearing completion. The main fights are undergoing testing and everything else is experiencing refinement.

Nonetheless, a release date has not been made because we want to ensure a safe release, where no pressure is put onto the team members.

From here, we will share our progress and eventually measure how long a public release will take. These updates are not guaranteed to be consistent in timing, but we've put too much progress into this project to back out now...
