🇺🇸 Devlog off the starboard bow!


What?! Has it already been 2 months?!

Okay, then it's time to show you... everything we've been cooking up.

This time, we're kicking things off with a section we haven't seen in a while.

And we're thrilled to announce: we’ve got new progress to share!

Thanks to the arrival of new programmers on the team, we've made more progress than ever before. As you know, this is the most demanding area of the entire project, and the road we’ve walked hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.

But now, the tide has turned!
We’ve got new updates!

And why keep talking when... we can just show you? ;D

We’ve basically had to rebuild the entire game’s code—
creating a brand-new engine to make everything more solid and stable, and to eliminate a ton of bugs.

We're still testing the mechanics and UI, but the direction we're heading in is VERY promising. In just one month, not only did we rebuild everything from scratch, but we also moved ahead with many new systems.

There are still months of work ahead, but the good news is: most of the other areas are pretty much complete.

If we had to estimate percentages... it’d look something like this:

There’s still some distance to go, but the most difficult part is behind us.
In a few more months, everything will be ready to integrate into the game.

We’re still optimistic about releasing the demo this year—
most likely toward the end.

We’re working hard every day to make this goal a reality.

All that’s left now... is to wait! ;D

We’re also working on decorative portraits for the fangame. You’ve probably seen how they look above, but here’s the full illustration so you can see it clearly:
