Devlog + Plot information.

4/6/2024:

All the changes in the existing levels are done and now I'm actively working on the endings:

-Replaced all Eggman sprites with SatAM Robotnik.

-Replaced Metal Sonic with Swat-Bot (from the show)

-Replaced level design and music in Sally's 2nd level

NEW STUFF:

-1/2 main levels for the 2 new endings completed

Plot:

Sonic's afterlife moments:

After hid death, Sonic woke up to a new reality. He was confused and couldn't remember what happened in Sunny Valley. He soon encountered that "Sonic". He was Sonic's anger, his Dark Spirit, all the negative feelings in 1 being...

He knew about his plans in the real world and tried to stop him, but no result.

He was able to watch everything happening in the real world from there, but couldn't intervene or interact with anyone or anything, he was just a spectator.

Since some people already liked the game, then I decided why not improve it?

Before continuing with the new stages, first, I want to improve the existing ones.

Here is a minor example of me learning to use the easing object for smoother movement!

1: "challenges await... and secrets will be found..."

2: "IN THE END... there is always ANOTHER WAY OUT"

Did anyone else notice this?🤔

new oc moment.

Oh yeah back to work!

Exams are not finished yet, but I am halfway there!

I was bored, so I decided to continue the game. Sally finally got an actual death scene.

Stay tuned for more teasers!

VERSION 2 OF SONIC SATAM HAS BEEN PUBLISHED!!! LET'S GOO-!

*Casually updates the game title & creates a new thumbnail*

"The Corruption" was a too general and overused title, so I decided to change it to "Phantom Corruption", which is also more straight to the topic.

New stage added for the Bad ending: Dead Hills

Nah this part is actually kinda funny.

However, version 2 will most likely have an actual death scene! This was just a joke lol.

This is an early prototype of how the Character select screen and the characters were going to look like... before I decide to work on the game.

The designs changed later on to fit the ones from "A Fox's Story", and because I prefer the modgen style.
