Devlog post 1. Report on visulas

Working on the visuals of the game for the last month gave us tremendous enhancement of game’s look, besides we have implemented some new features on walls movement and hamster control

As for visulas of the game. Let me show you a number of our brand new characters’ animations

This is Hamsternikus, our main character (scientist trapped in hamster’s body)

This is strange extraterrestrial creature, that looks like octopus from unknown galaxy and dimension

And a sand worm, regular. Like one from Dune or Tremors

While thinking of player’s convenience, we come up with the way to show the wall pushed and spot where it touches other walls or obstacles

Hamster now can move in two modes “pushing” and “just running around”, it can help when you want just run along a wall without pushing it

During the next week we need to start with the development of game’s sound. And we planning to launch a new game mechanics that will help us to expand game’s levels almost endlessly, details are coming in the next devlog

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
