📽️ DEVLOG: THE TAPES FOUND AT CARRIE’S ARCADE PIZZA ((REVAMPED Hiatus Update!))


Greetings everyone,

Development is taking a dark, unexpected turn. I’m stepping away for a 3-week hiatus to deal with recent stress, drama, and some heavy IRL struggles—including the literal destruction of my hardware. But I’m not leaving you empty-handed.

While the main game is on pause, something much more sinister is emerging from the shadows.

THE ANALOG HORROR PROLOGUE (ARG)

Before the main game arrives, a prologue ARG is being unleashed. My friend AMG has discovered a series of "Lost VHS Tapes" salvaged from the ruins of Carrie’s Arcade Pizza. There will be approximately 3 to 5 tapes in total, revealing the twisted history of what really happened behind those closed doors.

THE INSPIRATION

This ARG draws its chilling atmosphere from the greats of the genre:

  • The Walten Files: For that raw, unsettling storytelling.

  • The 3 Bears/GreenBuzz: For the classic analog dread.

  • Classic FNAF Analog: Drawing from the original style that started it all.

THE REVAMPED VISION

This isn't just another fan game. We are combining the DNA of several legendary projects to create the edgiest FNAF experience ever made. To ensure this is the most "Improved and Advanced" FNAF experience possible, I am blending the best elements from the following creators. Here is the official listing of influences, We’ve drawn inspiration from:

  • The Return to Freddy's (By: BFPFilms): Decent, layered story-telling techniques.

  • Lake's Funland (By: Heisenmorg): Mastery of dark story transitions.

  • One Week at Mario's (By: PiggyandSquiddyProductions): Creating a truly disturbing lore environment.

  • Five Nights at Sonic's (By: TheCyVap): Deep story "rabbit holes" and character inspiration.

  • Those Nights at Villca's (By: VillcaToons): Mysterious lore and colorful, organized presentation.

  • The Sparks (By: DiamondFox9579): Pacing and atmospheric build-up inspiration.

  • JOLLY (By: IvanG): Enhancing the experience with a Sci-Fi edge.

THE GOAL

By mixing these elements, I am aiming for an Absolute Edgy experience. I want the player to feel a level of unease that surpasses even Graveyard Shift at Freddy's. We are focusing on intense, extreme tension and horror gameplay that moves beyond "standard" fan games.

I need this time to rest and regroup, but when I return, the tapes will be waiting.

Hey everyone,

‎I have some horrible news to share regarding the development of my FNAF fan game. My laptop screen has unfortunately imploded/broken, making it impossible for me to continue active development on this device for the time being. Seeing the screen like this was honestly devastating.

💔 The Bad News

Because of this hardware failure, the game will be delayed. It’s going to take me a while to get my setup back to a functional state, and I’m crushed that I can’t keep the momentum going right now.

((This is actually me Hugging @AgotiMouse ))

Thanks to my friend @AgotiMouse , who helped me navigate the screen via AnyDesk, I have some massive relief to share: The entire project and all assets have been safely backed up! Everything is secured on TeraBox and Google Drive, so not a single sprite, sound, or line of code was lost. The game isn't cancelled—just on a forced hiatus.

‎What happens next?

‎I’ll be working on a way to get back into the developer's chair as soon as I can. Thank you all for your patience and support during this rough time. It’s a setback, but the nightmare isn't over yet... it’s just sleeping.
