Welcome back, in the last devlog update before the game releases, we have some news for you to show & tell
1. Playtesting stage
The playtesting is going well and soon enough every bug should be fixed. We managed to fix the most important ones, but that for some reason made it so the first level to play because it was loading too many objects at once, which was pretty strange because this didn't happen in earlier playtests. Anyway this bug is fixed and the most worst problem is finally fixed as well.
2. Battery
We decided to scrap the limited battery mechanics. After playtests we noticed that the game is hard enough for a casual player and there is no need to make it even harder with limited battery. The phone UI is being redesigned so the battery will be removed and the rest of the UI improved.
3. Optimization
The game is more optimized now. We have had some problems earlier, for example location 3 which used to run in 70 FPS now runs in 110 FPS so that's progress. Of course we can't tell how much FPS you will have since you might have a better/worse PC so nothing is sure. Our FPS count was just an example that the game is more optimized.
4. Animations
New AI animations were added to the game. Now your enemies will look around while searching for you. We changed it so when they notice you it doesn't look odd anymore. Instead of automatically running to your location it plays a spotted animation first! That's all we can say. There won't be any more devlog updates. Stay tuned for the full release!
