Director's Cut - Devlog #2


The game is almost done! everything is ready and only needs to be coded!

the office & menu have been finished, jumpscare, mechanic etc, one thing I wont be doing for the office however is not making a "dark" version of the jumpscare when the lights go out (im sorry but im too lazy for that).

another thing I wanna talk about is the game's quality, now the mechanics of the game are very simple and might make some people dislike the director's cut, however when you play this you'll notice this isnt my usual fun stuff like trtf 2: space time,

no, when you play this you'll immediately go "oh this is different" because it is, I experimented alot with this project and it might honestly be the most unique thing I have ever made yet.


sorry this was more of a rant then a devlog, I cant say much without spoiling so have a sneak peak at the extras (im still making it so it might change in the final)

So uh... I might've gotten carried away after saying I would do this project only after the nbd one...

I REALLY wanna do a recode of the original Five Nights to Remember, that game deserves a recode like malrat's old fnati games are getting. As it has huge potential to be really fun when recoded with reworked mechanics or brand new ones!
