Wow! I still can’t believe that Doba Chaser got featured today. I have been learning Game Maker and working on Doba Chaser for about a year in my spare time, and I decided on a whim to upload it to gamejolt as well as my own personal site. Since then, I have been really impressed by the community here - I’ve gotten tons of useful feedback, and people have just been very supportive in general.
I love working on Doba Chaser, so I decided that today was as good a time as any to upload an update I have been working on. This update adjusts the difficulty a bit, fixes some of the tiling issues a few players have experienced, and adds a few levels. The game still runs a lot better in windows than html5, so I recommend that anyone who is having trouble should try the download version.
I would love to say more, but it has been a big day, and getting this update polished and out has left me beat. Thanks to everyone who has played, rated, and left feedback for Doba Chaser. I am thrilled that something I made is entertaining others, and I plan to continue improving the game until it is something I am really, really proud of.
Thanks!
-Rocco, Palo Blaco Games.
