the fact he so suddenly appears a slighty changed bloodborn that immediatly starts to ''mutate'' into a abomination big enough to left nothing but the below half actually can suprise at first time
later the bossfight itself shows how bloodvessel with his slow speed tries to make you fall all cost (constantly attacking you with his bloodshots, summoning)
