Doll Factory's story mode is making great progress so far! I wanted to give an update on some changes as well as give you a 50 second teaser of some free roam!!

So first things first -- the changes. I originally planned for the story mode to take place over the course of 3 nights. Since my post talking about that, I decided I didn't want to take that route anymore. The game will now take place over just 1 night. HOWEVER, story mode's length will not be affected by this change at all. It just fits much better and makes for a more seamless experience.

What would have been 1 night in story mode before is now 2 hours now. I still have the same plan, with 3 different styles of games, but now it's a little more refined. I also figured out what the "night 2" (which I will now refer to as 2-4am) is going to be. That's what you're seeing in the teaser above :)

And I will, of course, be giving an update on my progress. As you can probably guess from the 2am teaser, I am already finished with "night 1" (12-2am). This puts me at about 25% complete with custom night!! And as for the game itself, I'd say it's about 80% done. There are still some major issues that I need to fix in the main custom night mode but that's pretty much complete. I don't want to give a concrete answer for the release date, since there's always a chance of things changing, but it's 2024 guaranteed!
