Game
The Way Up

Don't Get To Excited. But this might be extended.

So, originally my plan was to make a shoot-em-up about a ghost destroying humans in his haunted house. That fell through after I was seriusly bumbed out for the past 6 days. So I just made ‘The Way Up’ and decided to put it out there. Spent more time on graphics than gameplay. I suck at game jams by the way.

I might make the shoot-em-up I wanted to later on, I have to get a game ready for IndieCade though, so I am not positive how much time i’ll have

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

Have a good Boi

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Rockin the Guitar, an Axe like Guitar I made for my Uni project

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.

Try it out!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Hi all, Quick update with a bunch of fixes and changes.

Updated save system, optimisation and screen tear fixes, a new shoutout room and more sounds.

Don't forget to follow the kickstarter going live on the 20th! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/9fingergames/zapling-bygone

Enjoy!

It's now possible to destroy some of the obstacles and gain access to new locations or create shortcuts. #gamedev #indiegame #rpg

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
