i don’t usually post things like this, but this has been on my mind for a while

i don’t know who needs to hear this, but what you do matters. more than you probably think. there is someone out there watching you, feeling inspired by you, and looking up to you in ways you may not even realize

it’s so easy to look at your own work or what you do and see it as small or insignificant. i spent a long time in that mindset, convinced that if i just stopped, no one would notice or care. i’ve stepped away quietly many times out of demotivation and discouragement, not even thinking about saying anything because i thought no one would notice anyway

but i was wrong, and you might be wrong about yourself too..

in my experience, i realized that some people do care, and they believe in me. realizing that has been one of the most meaningful things i’ve experienced. it gives me a reason to keep going, even on days where i feel like i’m falling short

every time someone tells me they started game development because of me or because of something i made, it feels different. there’s something really special about seeing others follow their passion because of something you did, even if you once thought it was small

you might think you’re just working or creating, but someone else sees you as a reason to follow their own dreams

so if you’re dealing with the same situation i’ve been in for a long time, please don’t give up. you may feel unseen, but there’s at least one person out there who believes in you and wants to see you succeed

that alone is something worth holding on to.
