Today marks a whopping 5 years since I created my little fangame series, Fun Nights at Roxy's (which later became ROXY's)!
I honestly can't believe my dumb little FNAF series has spanned this many years, it's honestly amazing! Starting in 2020 and exclusive to Scratch, the first FNAR game I made was created simply out of the then rekindling love I had for making games. I had dabbled years before with making FNAF-style Scratch games many times, however I gradually grew out of it until lockdown, where the sudden extra time I had on my hands lead me to get back into it all over again! I ended up creating 5 games in a single year and, while they're incredibly rough nowadays, I still have wonderful memories of making them! Developing those games (as well as ROXY's later on) has also allowed me to meet amazing people that I'm still in contact with today!
The amount of people who have played this series over the years has been astounding to me. I never thought my games would reach 1000+ views on Scratch and Gamejolt and it warms my heart to think that so many people loved playing them! Thank you all so much for enjoying and interacting my games, it means a hell of a lot to me!
And to celebrate this anniversary, while I don't have massive amounts planned, I have created a small video that should hopefully tie up some loose ends lore-wise (to which I've left undone for half a decade now)! This video will also mark the official end of the [roxworks] branding, going back to goatcheesejuice!
Once again, thank you all so much!!
