Heyo, it’s me, the catguy who takes a month to post anything. Welcome to another devlog of this trainwreck known as Dayshift Simulator! (Unfunny) Jokes aside I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, even on my social media, but despite my inactivity I have been somewhat working on the game.
For starters, instead of another boring inaccurate chart of the game’s progress, here’s a slightly less boring but still inaccurate checklist.
Dayshift Simulator to do list:
Draw out the sprite models for the charactersDraw out the sprite models for the animatronics (40% done)
Draw out the rest of the tilesets for the game (80% done)
Stop procrastinating
See previous option
Another thing is that I’ve finally updated the thumbnail with the updated model of the blue clad protag. (I wonder how long this will last until I decide to change it again.)
Some other stuff
Lastly I’ve actually been getting more of the artwork done lately, and I’ve even updated the older models of the cast. As soon as it’s done I can finally start scripting the game. I’d say the demo would be done or at least almost done around a few months if nothing goes wrong hopefully, plus with summer approaching progress is definitely gonna go a lot smoother. Also you guys don’t have to worry about me going completely silent for a month again after this, since I’ve been trying to organize my schedule lately. Most of the time I keep juggling between, Schoolwork, Videogames, Dss Stuff, random stuff and just being plain lazy. The real problem was since I had no actual organized schedule I tend to procrastinate a lot, so I plan to fix that soon.(I hope) Thanks to those who actually read this far, just know that once I sort out my schedule I’ll try my best to get the demo out soon. I might even start posting small devlogs again. Anyway that’s all for now I’ll see you guys later!
