I remember very clearly the first time I ever heard of a video game. It was Christmas of 1989 and I was a happy little kindergartner. My sister and I ripped open the package and found towels in a box and we were content thinking we had our very own towels. My grandparents knew that they were just padding for the real treasure inside. So we pulled away the towels and revealed our original Nintendo Entertainment System. We had no clue what it was but we’d soon find out. Who knew that event was so crucial in influencing my future.
Now I am part of an indie game team with no real experience but this whole process has helped me learn so much. I have had to learn how to make story boards and anamatics. I have learned the process for concept art and even story writing and I am still learning so much.
I bring up all of this to just encourage you to go for it. Even if you don’t know anything about making games besides for the fact that you love games, don’t let that discourage you. I am part of a dev team that has zero game making experience but we have accomplished something that would have been impossible if we would have sold ourselves short. We learned and stuck to our goals and are now on our way to making our first game. If we can do it you can too. So whatever your dream is, get to it and don’t give up!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
