I know some of you are probably wondering:
"Why go back to Jone & Friends when you were working on other projects?"
Or even: "Why remake the first game yet again?"
That is a perfectly valid question.
The last few weeks, especially during the summer vacation, have been quite a challenge. Between connectivity issues, personal matters, and a dip in motivation, I took some time to reflect on the future of my projects.
It was while thinking back on Jone & Friends, specifically the Revamp series, that I rediscovered my creative spark.
After weeks of reflection, I realized there was still so much I wanted to tell, improve, and share with you. This isn't a decision made on a whim; it’s a new direction I’ve been preparing for a while.
My goal isn't to remake the games just for the sake of it. I want to build a version of Jone & Friends that is more cohesive, more polished, and truer to the vision I’ve had from the very beginning. And believe me... you’ve barely seen anything yet.
Thanks to the new programming methods I’m using now, I can finally bring to life ideas that were previously impossible to implement, all while keeping the games better optimized, smoother, and, I hope, more accessible to everyone.
Thank you for continuing to follow this post.
Your support, feedback, and patience motivate me every day to push even further.
