Continuing to post little one-off pictures to avoid making people sick of the new game before it's out. Here is a glamour shot of Prof Zoo and staff, drawn in a slightly different style to how they appear in Hands Of The Killer. I like the idea that the eyes on the hoods are just crudely painted on.
I've also attached some mockups for the "painting zone" in Flesh Of The Killer - originally it was going to be all painted textures, but I switched to 3d ones made with Sculptris since I found it a weirder effect. The first pic is all white to give more of an antiseptic classical feel. The second is playing with colour more - I like it but don't know if it fits the tone of the level, since the moral paintings are meant to be a little more emotionally alien and less vibrant. The third is closest to what ended up in the game, the idea was for it to still be kind of a cross between a classical museum and a dank, fleshy maze.
