After starting the game, you have two options: either jump into the gameplay or customize your character.

At this point I think it's worth noting that you are NOT playing as Frisk. You and Frisk are two completely different humans, even if you look similar.

For now, your options are limited to changing the color of certain body parts: Skin, Pants, Outline, Eyes and Shirt.

One thing that's planned for the future for sure is a custom SOUL color. What's not confirmed but might come is different face expressions, body variants and different hairstyles, but like I said that's not confirmed yet.

After selecting an option, you are given the ability to pick any color from the selector or press (TAB) and enter an RGB value for more accuracy.

You can select any color as long as:

  • R+G+B is bigger than 30. This is to avoid full black skins (for visibility sake)

  • The color is not taken already. Two body parts can't have the same color.

When you're done, simply save and you will be taken to the overworld where everyone can see your beautiful skin.
