My first game jam! It was such a fun experience. Worked with three of my closest people for art assets, music and idea. The whole period of Jam went by decided the main idea for the game. We started with making an underwater ufo game (coz why not? XD). Designed all the assets and also wrote half the code and almost midway through we realised the game was getting too "high quality" for an offline endless runner. So we decided to drop the idea. Spent 2 more days mindlessly thinking for the next-big-thing. After a lot of brainstorming and scraping ideas, we settled on to this one. It was quite a challenge to complete a minimum product as we were left with less than 24 hours to get it up with no logic/assets ready. Ahh, the thrill of staying up all night, knowing that if I sleep even for a bit, the deadline will be long gone until I wake up again. Finally, published a decently working build yesterday, has a lot of bugs but it's playable still. We had a lot of things in mind but Gamemaker Studio's license expired this morning It's okay though, I've planned to continue this project in Godot today and as soon as the jam ends, we will get the updated Cow online. Stay tuned for cool new features coming to this game.
I'll be publishing another log on the bugs that I've discovered, you can comment on that post if you find any new bugs.
Thanks for reading, have a great day!
