Final 12 hours

Global Game Jam 2014 ends for us in exactly 12 hours from now.

It’s currently 4am here in Cologne, Germany and we are still hard at work to accomplish our goals.

I want to explain to you what our game is all about: You have to collect DNA strings, that are bound to letters. Also, you have to do this with an altered perception. What that means? Well, please wait until our final game in 12 hours! We really want to finish our basic goals until pushing a build up, as it would just not be playable right now.

And ow: It’s in 3D. The 2D parts are just for some rudimentary storytelling (angry birds style ;-)

All other jammers out there good luck! Hope you finish all your games in time.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Hey you, rookie! Yes, I am talking to you!! Come over here? Relax! Just stick to me and everything will be fine. By the way, my name is James Varhuher, but you can call me Big J. I will bring you up to speed.

Distrust - HUMERUS (with dirty shade) Papyrus isn`t small. It's possible that I didn't draw him well, but he crouched down and bent towards us. I'm still bad at moments like this
