Hello everybody! I hope everyone is doing alright. Many of us are likely on some type of break right now (if you are in schooling that is).
I apologize for the lack of announcements and progress recently. I had finals the start of this month, and I wanted to rest a bit after that. With Christmas around the corner, I will take a small break. Like, a few days tops.
Some progress has been made, however, and I wanted to share that with you.
Easter Eggs
The biggest thing I have been working on is the game's various easter eggs. I have never been one for easter eggs in my games, and I believe that was due to sheer laziness on my part. So, I have decided to step up my game in that regard.
Some of you may have seen my mini post discussing five secret joke 'endings.' These are the main easter eggs of this game, with the first one being easy to get, and the last four being incredibly difficult and convoluted in someways.
Other easter eggs will include hallucinations (FNaF standard really, ya know?), secret animatronics (some aren't hallucinations and serve as hints for lore and such), and a secret minigame (I'll be giving no more details, apologies. It is not of the 8bit variety).
General Optimization
Before Beta testing begins, I have been testing things some myself. I am sure some small bugs will be found by my beta testers, but I am trying to catch any MASSIVE ones before hand.
I am also trying to polish the game more. Adding effects, better sound effects, etc. This part is kind of boring, so I do not have much to share here.
Overall, the game is technically in a complete state, but I need to finish polishing, bug testing, and optimizing before release. I appreciate you all for sticking with me over the years, and I hope this game turns out good for you guys.
