Finally...an Update

After a long break from development on Alien Rush we have made some changes

  • Some of the weapons more effective now in order to make the game more balenced.

  • Some of the text has been converted to image text so that we can use our own font.

  • The Aliens now disappear when you collide with them, this is to prevent you from becoming trapped (A common problem)

  • The collectables now have a larger collision zone so you can pick them up from more of a distance.

  • The Screen size has been adjusted to use PAL (1024 x 576) to make it more comfortable to play.

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
