Finally Getting It Out There!

Hello, internet! You may call me Shanemagi. I’m a new game developer who’s been on-and-off making games for the past 2 years, and I come to you with my first professional project - ExoSpace!

The game is a fully voice acted JRPG made on the RPG Maker VX Ace Engine, and will have its first public release soon. How soon? As soon as the voice acting wraps up and I can be sure there’s no bugs or glitches that would hinder gameplay immensely.

The game is going to be released as so; the game’s story is seperated into chapters, each around 20 to 40 minutes of playtime roughly. Around 5 to 6 chapters makes up a single Act. Thus, the game shall be released by Act, from Act 1 to Act 3, and then post-game with any side stories.

However, the game hasn’t been finished for Act 1, only reaching about 48% completion for it, so, to wet your figurative gaming tastebuds, I’ll be releasing the first public demo sometime soon in the future, which will cover the Prologue and Chapter 1, roughly equating to 40 minutes of gameplay.

I’ll be sure to keep this devlog updated with progress, and drop lore posts here and there so you can get a sense of the world I’m creating.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy this ride I’m creating for all of you! …Because it’s free. I won’t accept donations or money for this game. So, enjoy. <3

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
