Mad Cat Production
They're a lot goofier than other Mascot Horror monsters, but very complex at the same time, in ways that I find other Mascot Horror characters aren't. And I'm not just talking about lore.
A good way to see if a character has depth or not, is to see if you can describe them, WITHOUT talking about what they look like or their role in the story.
From their interactions with the player, to having an actual personality. (Again, that isn't there to serve the lore.) This doesn't have to be through dialogue (obviously) but shown through a number of ways like animations, music, facial expressions, AI behavior(s), etc.
For The Jester, its music and dialogue. Even if you don't get to see it as much in the demo as I would like, you're given and have an idea of the type of character they are from the start!
And lastly, down to the topic I'm having the MOST fun with: Can what the creepy jester plush doing be considered good or not? Are they in the right?
I love this little monster, and I can't wait to show off the more raw and unhinged side of them!
