Fire work: The problems of making a resolution of 32x32 px

I maked this game for the low rez jam. I think that that’s a good jam, and I love making games in this resolution (because of the pixel effect). But I also have some problems, that make it more challenging:

  1. I have to make a different sprite for every rectangle, and I can not make transparent sprites for making the pixel appearence (for example the bunnie have three sprites: body, ears and eyes).

  2. The shit that appears in the first room is my brain logo affected by the bad resolution.

  3. I have some problems to calculate the moves, speeds and jumps of every object.

  4. I cannot found any font for that game.

I think that the result was a good pixel raphics and a VERY VERY minimalist game.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Why walk when you can jump?
