No. It’s not cancelled. It’s still being worked on. But here’s the thing. I don’t have as much to do with it than I did when I started working on it. Not that I’m almost done with the game. But I don’t have a lot to continue working on yet. I don’t have any character models to put in the rooms, I don’t have all the camera images yet, and I’m having trouble programming a few things. I’m testing out the movement with square boxes because I don’t have any character movement images yet. But when a character moves, rather than going to another room, they just teleport to a room that’s not connected to another room. And I don’t know how to make them go to a room connected to another room, and not teleport to a faraway room, and sometimes, next to the office. To sum it up, I don’t have enough stuff to finish the game yet. That’s what’s holding me back from working on Five Nights at Dark Pit’s. I thought of just pausing development on the game and taking a break. That does not mean it’s cancelled. Like I said, it’s still being worked on.
But here’s a rather big, but sort of predictable reason that the game is not out yet. I’m working alone on this project. I have no dev team. It’s just me. But, I was thinking of having a development stream where you can watch and help me develop Five Nights at Dark Pit’s. But I have to get my account verified to be able to get the ability to stream. So I don’t know if the stream will actually happen, but I will let you know if it will or not.
