Five Nights at Wario's: Mcroy Manor Takeover

Damn! It is good to be back! Seriously. Not having to worry about exams is such a great feeling! But that's not what your here for, you're here for everyone's favourite thing! Progress!

(Also, you can tell I had no idea what the make the thumbnail of this devlog be, but you get to see the new design so that's cool :])


So I've been a little bit busy...

And I don't mean that in the sense of revising and stuff. For one, I have been giving myself some free time to relax. Key tip, don't spend all your time revising etc. etc.
I've also been working on my games. Since the last time I updated you on the game, I've worked on a WHOLE LOTTA THINGS!

  • I'll go chronologically since that's the best way to start things up. I finally added in Wario's Jumpscare, so you can actually die to him now instead of getting jumpscared by Mario.

  • I fully programmed in Waluigi's mechanic, he appears on either side of you and if you go over the arrow when he is there, you will die. It's an easy mechanic, but sometimes the simple mechanics are the most annoying ones.

  • I added in a night winning scene. It's probably my proudest one yet. My night win screens have gotten a bit more ambitious the more I've been coding. 1.0 of MMT had a simple shift from day to night. Time Shift 1.0 had a shift from day to night with some clock noises, with 2.0 having Luigi pop up and celebrate. Relived Damnation has a funky tune as it... shifts from... day to...
    Ya know I think I'm noticing a trend here. Anyway, you can actually see that screen from my post yesterday making my grand return.

  • Most recently, I have gotten to Bowsers Mechanic, whose donning a new design! It's more a kin to his normal design. His mechanic is like his Virus Counterpart from FSaW. He'll approach the window in the backroom and you have to shock him. Unlike FSaW However, you have to manually charge up the generator after you shock him.

There is still a lot I need to do, considering that I'm planning on having 7 enemies in the game, but the game is now in a state where I can start max mode testing.

That's where I just set all characters to max and see how well I can handle them. But for now that'll be it for MMT.


So what about my other games:

I think at this point, its safe to say Multiversal Maniacs is just dead. I may revive it, but for now it'll stay in it's grave. Relived Damnation (Part 1) however, is gonna be releasing VERY SOON. Just gotta do a few small things, then I can get it out to the public. Be sure to keep your eyes out for the release day! This time, I'm not giving a date unlike Time Shift >:}

Now that the demo is out (HINT HINT, COUGH COUGH), I can get to work on the other stuff, like the promised options! Also gonna start work on the new cutscenes today. Hoping to get the Night 6 and Night 1 cutscenes done at least.
