The characters are taken from the Mario series and their designs in this game are darker with some realistic blood on them or some misproportions and missing body parts.

The enviroments are realistic and dark, and the game takes place in an abandoned house, which can contribute to the horror element and the plot, which by itself contains horror.

It has loud noises and jumpscares that can scare the player when losing.
