All right - the floodgates are opened, and with them comes the updates. I’ve spent the last two weeks without a working internet connection, and while it’s been a great way to stop me from procastinating, it’s also stopped me from debugging the online highscore tables - until today.
After a bit of tweaking, I’ve gotten the Gamejolt API code up and running properly, and you can now login properly and register your highscores under your own username! To clean up, I’ve created a brand new highscore table for you to fill in - the guest highscore table is still there, but it can’t be viewed from in-game, only from the Gamejolt page.
Some other bugs has also been fixed:
-Crabs now spawn coins at their current position when killed, not outside the screen.
-Himeka’s and Toadella’s attacks now actually give points if you kill enemies with them. If you were wondering why you didn’t reach the top scores even though you lasted for hours, now you know why - it was a game-breaking bug.
-Coins are less bright now to not distract you from enemies.
-Enemies has a rainbow outline.
-Hakusan’s basic attack has double the old firerate, so she should not be the weakest character anymore.
-Crab movement speed lowered, Satsuka should now be able to outrun them.
