Flippy was indeed cured of his second personality. But in fact, originally, the Unstoppables couldn't cure him normally. So they decided to remove Fliqpy from his body, they succeeded and now Fliqpy and Flippy are really two different people.
(Well, they still had a hard time making him understand that you shouldn't kill just anyone without reason. But, it ended up paying off and he became part of the team.)
