Floating Sandbox 1.17.1 Is Out!

Dear shipmates (by now almost shipbuilders),

We already have an update for you!

Like it often happens with major code releases, the 1.17.0 update had a couple of issues that could cause the game to crash. We've quickly fixed them (thanks Chris!) , and in the process we've also slipped-in a couple of improvements!

Here's the changelist for this mini-update:

  • ShipBuilder:

    • Added "Sampler" tool, to inspect and select materials from existing particles

    • Added "SHIFT lock" to "Pencil" and "Eraser" tools

    • Fixed crash when using CTRL^Z keyboard shortcut (Undo) when undo is not possible

  • Added a small "grace period" before allowing water-sensing switches to flip again

  • Fixed sporadic crash when activating the WindMaker tool underwater

We strongly recommend upgrading to this new 1.17.1 release, even if you've upgraded to 1.17.0 already, as it removes these two annoying crashes.

Talk to you soon, hopefully this time with a status update about new features!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Shadow The Hedgehog X pixel art

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
