(FNAC) Sound effect changes...

Hey, just a small update regarding the FNAC DX trilogy. In short, some sound effects are most likely going to be different from the original releases, and the reason is due to copyright/licensing.

Back when I made these games, I was mainly trying to assure that sound effects used in the game(s) were free to use for non-commercial purposes. Now of course, because of the Fanverse, these DX releases cannot be considered non-commercial, and so I am forced to update some of these sound effects throughout the three games.

And as many of you have already figured out, this obviously also means that all the Tom & Jerry soundtrack snippets used throughout the series are going away too.

I can imagine some of these sounds have become a big part of the "FNAC experience" to a lot of you, but I doubt it'll be jarring or difficult to enjoy the games just because they sound a tad different :P

That's all for now. I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up, ideally so I won't get a ton of questions like "why did you change [sound effect]?" once the games release.

Thank you for reading!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
