This is a project that will take huge inspiration from FNAF Maker while also being much easier to use with more features.
And what I mean by "easier" is that instead of having to type a precise id for camera and office states, it would be like a checkbox criteria system thing where the game will check if a state criteria is met in order to show it in the office or camera systems.
To go along with these states, imagine if you could make certain states rare?? With a system like that, you could easily make easter eggs. Though with characters like Golden Freddy or Shadow Bonnie, I think I might have to come up with a separate system for them...
For creating animatronics, I plan to have a system where instead of typing the path they go in, you could edit their path through an animatronic path editor where it shows you the camera system for your game and you would have to select the camera you want and you could link other cameras to that camera.
The office editor will work similar to the one in FNAF Maker apart from some options like the mask or flashlight being moved to a separate "Project Settings" menu. I can't really think of much I would want to add to the office editor, but I'm sure I can come up with something during the game's development.
The main menu editor will also work similar to the one in FNAF Maker, except you'll be able to move text around, add twitch animations, possibly change the font, and make the newspaper fade if you wanted it to.
A feature that this project will have is the ability to export your games as an executable. The main issue about this would be that I don't really know how to implement a feature like this. I know for a fact that it's possible to add because I'm making this project in Godot and I'm aware that there's Godot-powered game engines that have the option to export to Windows (such as RPG in a Box). It could just be exporting to Windows, I doubt I'd be able to make it so that you could export to Mac because that would require an Apple computer. Linux might be a possibility due to the fact that it's just as easy to export a game to Windows. Android probably not, but it would be a higher possibility than exporting to Mac.
Your exported game will include a splash screen saying that it's made in FNAF Construct. However, you'll have the option to disable the splash screen so having it enabled is kinda like a way of being like "hey go check this out!" without actually having to say the words yourself.
I would love to hear suggestions for the project and I'm hoping that I am able to keep the motivation to get this done and released. And when the project is in a more developed state, I'll go ahead and make a GameJolt page for it.
