One thing I miss from this franchise are those silly but fun little spin off games it used to make, such FNaF World, Freddy in Space 2 and Fury’s Rage, they weren’t perfect, but they have a certain charm to them, they’re just fun little games that wasn’t obsessed with the rewriting and cramming in more lore and trying to sell us books in order to tell the story that should’ve been in the games in the first place, hello there Mimic.

This is what I want to see more from this franchise in the future, to take a stab at other game genres, FNaF is a very versatile series and I don’t think it should just limit itself to just making horrors games with tie in books forever, one thing I want is a Kart Racer, in the same vain as Crash Team Racing.

Before anyone says it, yes, I am aware of the fangame here on gamejolt called Faz-Karts by BoxSoft, not sure how many people are working on it, whether it’s a team or just one person but regardless, what they’ve made so far has been impressive, I haven’t played it myself but I’ve heard it’s pretty good.

Despite that, I just want to share my ideas for a FNaF kart racer, or at least designs for the karts themselves, when designing these karts, I wanted to make sure each kart was the same size, same structure and same wheels, this is because I want any character to fit inside and drive any kart as opposed to give each character their own exclusive kart.

One thing I really loved about CTR Nitro Fuelled is the character customization, allowing me to pick my driver, costume, body, decals, paint job, wheels and stickers and mix and match them however I like and in a later update, they introduced engine swap, allowing me to pick my own kart class and stats to any character I want.

With the amount of characters FNaF has, the possibilities are limitless, think about it, racing against each other in online with your friends, consent updates with new skins, characters, karts and tracks, console ports, battle modes, power-ups, time trails and tournaments, it writes itself. The big question is who would make a game like this? it has to be a developer that has a good understanding of the FNaF IP and will be committed to it long term and not just abandon it at the first sign of a better deal like Illumix did with FNaF AR, what about the Faz-Karts game being a part of the Fazbear Fanverse if BoxSoft is up for it.

I could potentially write an entire design document for a game like this, I’ve done so before because I had to when I was a university studying game design, so what do you think of the idea, would you like to see an official FNaF kart racer or a Fanverse racer and which kart design here is your favourite?
