Today is my 16th birthday! It would seem that just a while ago, I was like a second year gamewalt waiting for the next Moonzy X to show up, and now I'm a teenager who's allowed to drink light sweet wine. Yeah, come to think of it...
As for my plans, they... probably failed. Yes, most of them are either just not done, or done but with questionable quality and development. To recap, my goals were as follows:
Creating and editing 3d models (+-)
Drawing Sonic-like characters (Mobians) and general training in CG (also halfway through)
Charisma development (again, not sure I fully developed this point, so I give it a +-)
This is where these goals end. I came to this site on May 28, 2019 and was first introduced to it. At the time, I was then interested in FNAF and its fan games (The Return To Freddy's, Five Nights at Treasure Island, Five Nights at Wario's and etc.) and waited with deep patience for new news from Steel Wool Studios and Scott. And until about 2020-21, I wasn't particularly active, as I was transitioning into 6th or 7th grade at the time. Acquaintances with interesting, unusual and creative personalities made my emotions mixed towards the Russian part of GameJolt, which I can't list: VoidMan01, RagenQuite3985, MrReber (Rebers_Games), CrystalGames, Maksim_Games, FenixTheDeveloper, KuztnesovA, Execorp, Zerax, Kuki_Official... All of them were cool dudes in one way or another, even though I could talk shit with some of them and speak their language, but hey! It's all in the past now, just gotta move on and let it go. Anyway, I'm actually very grateful to these people! In all my time here I have changed a lot, grown, changed my outlook and most importantly: met a lot of interesting and good people!
It's a bit surprising that the community has hardly disintegrated in such a long time. Leaving in the interim 2023-24, I was pretty sure the community would disintegrate. But against my curiosity and constant “shadowing” I saw it reincarnate in a slightly different form. The new guys who were new to their business and were releasing their new serious exe games knew their stuff... All in all, this period can be called the “second revival of Moonzy X” from April to modern day. That's for sure :)
What I want to wish to the community?
First of all peace and progression. Preferably enough for the average EXE-people. Also... You can throw babble at me, but somehow people demand more than just a “scary” Moonzy X (and Sonic.exe) game. The community is already going through a bad time (if not its final sunset), and everyone (including me) wants Moonzy games to look like a super-duper indie project, which... it just doesn't make sense. Of course, without criticism a developer won't develop, but if these demands are as they are now and continue to grow, I think we'll soon lose a bunch of funny and thrashy content (hello first EXE wave 2012-2015), which is what our Moonzy-Schmoonzy X was all about. The very point of MX is to be “archaic” or, literally, low-quality “games”. Clearly, these projects of a few seconds with white backgrounds, obscene dialogues, etc. - are not the way to go, but everyone, in order to move on to something cooler and more distinctive, used to do something like this first.
What's going to happen to me next?
First of all, upon final reflection, I realized that I'm just too old to just dwell here like this. I've seen a lot of things... And so at this point, I can only say that I am now slowly leaving this masterpiece called GameJolt. Of course, some will remember me, some won't, some will just laugh, but one way or another, I always love and appreciate everyone who subscribed to me then and now. No kidding. Just remember that a person like me had all sorts of fun its people because of my no-good actions, making creativity, games, being. Heh... Also, our bloody alien from Mladov turned 9 years old... whew...
Anyway, that's all I had in mind! Happy birthday to me and my favorite Moonzy X!
