Basically how it works is that it's a directed graph, and the connection leads to the object it's in front/above of, so when Benjiro is connected to Toby, Toby is in front of Benijro, and vise versa
Otherwise there will be no connections between the two if they're not in range of each other, meaning...
the order that they're drawn doesn't mean crap since they're not close together, it doesn't really matter
which was actually the thing I was having trouble with before! At least with some objects what didn't have a clear order I thought they had to be in a fixed position, which now I've learned that doesn't have to be the case, and never should be
